VISION
To be the club of choice for individuals who want to play cricket or be involved or associated with a sporting organisation, in the local area.
VALUES
Sporting:
- To be respected throughout the competition and the local community as a club that plays the game in a sporting manner and within the spirit of the game.
- Attract and retain players committed to playing cricket at the highest possible level and for the club.
- Foster and promote junior development throughout the club.
- Build close relationships with other sporting clubs to explore and advance opportunities which are mutually beneficial.
- Have a positive ethos throughout the club, both on and off field.
Social:
- Provide to all members facilities offering comfort and security.
- To retain contact with past players and members in order to encourage their continued involvement with the club.
- To increase our membership, exposure and reputation by enjoying and promoting the successes of the club and providing a positive social atmosphere.
- Presentation of the club as a friendly, family orientated environment where partners, parents and children and associated family and friends are encouraged to participate in activities and functions.
Financial:
- To be a self-funding, financially viable, profitable organisation.
- Give all sponsors and members, whether corporate or individual members, a feeling of fulfilment and appreciation.
- Aim to continually improve our playing and social facilities.
Administration:
- Implement systems and processes that portray the club in a positive light and promote the strengths and advantages of being a member (including our website, communication methods, conduct of meetings and functions, etc).
- Achieve shared and reasonable allocation of and commitment to tasks across the club to ensure an even contribution to the running and functioning of the club.
- Have a clear and transparent decision making process through the club, including committee and selection decisions.
- To recognise the efforts of our volunteers.
