The 1sts had an interesting first day in their clash against Hoppers Crossing on Saturday.  HEAPA (I’ve made an executive decision, he’s to be known as HEAPA until he bowls again, anything will do) tossed successfully and decided to bat on an excellent looking wicket (or so I’m told, missed warm up again). Viv and Slugga were again the openers but their partnership only lasted until the 6th over of the innings when with the total on 16 Viv decided to dance the opening bowler and dispatch him into the adjacent houses.  Read the rest of this entry »

This Saturday see the long awaited re-appearance of the club’s “Progressive dinner”.

Always a great night on the social calender, the concept is a simple one….3 different courses at three different houses, very generously opened up to the club by Jacko & Kathryn, Slugga & Louise and Opal & Samantha.

Meet at Clubrooms at 7-7.20pm
7.30pm (approx) arrive at Jacko’s for entrée
8.45pm (approx) arrive at Slugga’s for Mains
10.00pm (approx) depart for Opal’s for Dessert

Costs $10 per person $20 per family

Drinks will be supplied at Bar prices
