Second day a better performance
fleggy | December 24, 2006Having lost on first innings last week the CYs first XI were looking for an improved performance to complete the first half of the season. St. Albans commenced at 5-155 and began brightly. Mihelkas proved that he could hook and pull, a shot that he executed for boundaries each of the five times that Hags dropped short. In fact it was in this manner that the 200 was raised. On the sixth attempt, and once a deep mid-wicket was put in place, the pull shot went straight to Brad Davies who took the catch.
