TOWARDS 2009.

18 11 2008

It was clear throughout 2008 that one of CYs’ best offensive weapons was fitness; owed greatly to the hard work done over the 2008 preseason. Following on from the fantastic double premiership won in the 2008 season, the CYMS Football Club is now looking towards 2009.

Training has begun Mondays and Wednesdays from 6 pm at the Fearon Reserve, Garden St, Williamstown. You’ll be happy to know that every training session will include getting your hands on the ball.

Come down and introduce yourself to Senior Coach, Allan ‘Oopy’ Elliot and the rest of the guys.

CYMS PREPARE FOR 2009

28 10 2008

Winning two grand finals was an excellent outcome for 2008 and is sure to be remembered by everyone involved forever.

We must now move forward.

The CYMS has never been a team to dream of the past, and we must now focus on 2009. Whilst most of us have been enjoying a well deserved break, the CYMS Football Department have been preparing for the coming year of football.  To begin our 2009 campaign, the CYMS Football Club will be holding an Introduction Day on Wednesday 5 November from 6:30 pm.  If you are considering playing football in 2009, or at anytime in the future for that matter join us for an informal chat and BBQ.

Please RSVP to Senior Coach Allan “Oopy” Elliot at oopy@optusnet.com.au or Club President Peter Welsh at peterwelsh@pacific.net.au if you are interested in attending so we can organise catering.

You too could be part of CYMS Football history in 2009.

Training for the 2009 season will be commencing on Wednesday 12 November 2008.
